Rocket Chef Turbo Grill

The Rocket Chef Turbo Grill is a microwave grill pan for browning, searing and crisping food inside a standard microwave. The pan has a raised ceramic nonstick cooking surface and a vented lid that helps control steam and splatter, plus large side handles for lifting it out with oven mitts. It is sized for one to two servings and is suitable for steak, burgers, chicken, fish, bacon, sausage, vegetables, grilled cheese and reheating leftovers such as pizza and fries. The nonstick coating is made without PTFE or PFOA. To use, preheat the pan uncovered for two to three minutes for grill marks, add food in a single layer, cover with the lid and microwave according to the cooking guide, flipping thicker cuts of meat, poultry and seafood halfway through. Most foods cook in two to five minutes. No power cord, propane or separate appliance is required — the pan works with the microwave you already have. Always use oven mitts : the cooking surface and handles become extremely hot. Cook all foods to a safe internal temperature (165°F for poultry and leftovers, 160°F for ground beef, 145°F for steaks, chops and fish with a three-minute rest). Wipe the surface clean after use.
